Aim

Show educators how to easily and effectively teach both in-classroom and online with technology. This comprehensive course aims to equip educators (teachers, lecturers, trainers) with the knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective connected-era teacher.

Overview

This course takes educators on a journey from Education island to the new e-Education island. Here educators will learn about the two sides of the island – the Digital Zone and the Connected Zone and why it is critical that we learn to teach in the Connected Zone. By being introduced to the ACT (Active Connected Teaching) pedagogies, educators are given a bridge to help transition to become effective, engaging, teachers. The course is packed with many examples of free tools that can be used to support Connected-era teaching and learning allowing educators to chart their own course towards effective 21st-century teaching.
